Bhange Ka Raita (Lemon flavoured yogurt)
This exotic “raita” is the best that I have ever tasted. Goes excellent with any meal but goes great with “Khicri”. As my father always says “Khicri ke hai teen yaar, raita, chutney or achaar.
Ingredients: Bhanga (hash seeds) roasted 3 tablespoon Sugar 4 tablespoons Galgal (Pahari lemon big in size) 1 number Yoghurt 1 kg Salt to taste
Method: 1. In a bowl, beat the yoghurt nicely. 2. Add sugar and salt and the bhanga seeds that have been roasted.. 3. Mix well. 4. De-skin and mash the lemon (galgal). 5. And add it to the above mixture. 6.Add the grated radish or radish julienne to the mixture and mix well. 7. Have it as “raita” with the meal but goes best with Khicri.
